15 minutes from Ridgeland: A H Reed Park is situated on the eastern side of Whangarei, Northland, New Zealand. It's unique feature is a disabled accesable path through the treetops. Note the sound of the cicadas.  From there you can walk (or drive) to the Whangarei Falls.
