From the South: (Auckland) At Whangarei and just 'Head for the Heads'!

1. Cross the bridge at the 'Town Basin' and drive to Onerahi (6km from town)
2. Turn LEFT onto Whangarei Heads Rd at the yellow Hammer Hardware Store, just past the New World Supermarket (Last food store before 'home)
3. Continue past the Pines Golf Course to Parua Bay.  Keep going past the Tavern & Cafe, turn LEFT into Owhiwa Rd. 
4. 4k up this road on the RIGHT side, the large 'Arches' sign is on our driveway.  Follow this drive to the end, through the iron gates, to the old yellow brick farmhouse - this is 'our' humble home and a work in progress!!  DON'T PANIC - we will meet you there and take you to your beautiful accommodation.

From the North:  (Paihia - Kerikeri ) either go through town to the Town basin and follow as above, or...

1. Take the Whareora Road at Kensington - past A H Reed Memorial Kauri Park & Abbey Caves Road
2. Turn RIGHT onto Mt Tiger Road - keep going past 'Wrack Rd' and you will come to a fuzzy country 'intersection'.  The signage here is misleading - GO RIGHT towards Parua Bay - Mt Tiger Rd becomes Owhiwa at this point.  STAY ON THE TAR SEAL.
3. Arches Retreat is now on the left aproximately 1.5km past Franklin Rd and the 3rd drive past the Mission Sisters' letterbox.  The large road sign is on our driveway at #398-400.  Follow the drive to the end and the old yellow brick farmhouse - this is our humble home and still a work in progress - DON'T PANIC - your accommodation is very lovely and we will meet you here and take you to your suite.
